Ferguson In The Active Mode


Sir Alex Ferguson said is in very active in transfer market especially the January transfer window  is just round the corner. It is understandable when reports said that Ferguson wanted to recruit established midfield players. His choice now limited to Carrick and Jones. He had no cover if anything happen to this two players. Fletcher already out for the rest of the season. Anderson and Cleverley said to be returned on January.

So these are the players that targeted by Ferguson.

Nicolas Gaitan.



Benfica player that impressed Ferguson so much. The 23-year-old is highly rated across Europe and impressed Sir Alex Ferguson during United’s ties with Benfica in this seasons Champions League.

Reports claimed that United had agreed a deal in principal, thought to be worth in the region of €35m, that would see the Argentine international move to England at the end of the current season.

Christian Eriksen




Ajax starlet is one young and up coming star. Said to be really fit it United team.  A creative attacking midfielder that could fill Paul Scholes place, 19-year-old Denmark international billed as a hot prospect for the future.

Wesley Sneijder



The Dutch playmaker was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford following the retirement of Paul Scholes. However the deal failed mainly due to wage demand by Sneijder. Latest report claimed that injury to the 27-year-old and a lack of form in a struggling Inter side could lead to his departure. Furthermore Inter have lined up a move for Lucas from Sao Paulo, which also a United target. So the Dutchman is still  very much in United radar.

Ganso



Santos player who played along Neymar. Recently been beaten by Barca  in Fifa Club World Cup in Tokyo. An embarrassing 0-4 defeat in the hand of Europe champion. Ganso also been targeted by Barca however claimed that not interested to join the Catalan. The 22 years old playmaker is dubbed as new Kaka would be a good buy for United. 

Jack Rodwell



Midfield dynamo for Everton. An enforcer in the midfield. Nicky Butt and Roy Keane type. He will link up well with attacking midfielder. To have him together player like Eriksen Sneijder or Ganso in the midfielder, United will have another pair like Keane and Scholes.
