United 2-3 Blackburn

 No Birthday Party

Unexpectedly United was defeated by the struggling Blackburn. United conceded three goals at the own backyard, second highest  after the biggest humiliation by City.

No Rooney as he reported been punished for late night activities together with Darren Gibson. So Ferguson was forced to play  six forward in that game. The midfield were all attacking players in Valencia, Park Ji Sung, Nani and Welbeck. While Hernandez and Berba at the front. Carrick continued as central defender partnered by fit again Jones. Evra on the left while Rafael surprisingly was the rightback. To my surprise De Gea was between the post. I was expected Lindegaard as his performance are much better than the Spaniard.

United was the dominant side but it was Blackburn that scored and eventually came out as the winner. United in full attack while Blackburn was happy to sit deep and absorbed all United attacks. And against the run of play, Blackburn was awarded a penalty and United took time to recover from that. And after interval the same script repeated. United again was shocked by second goal. When United recovered they managed to score two goal to level the game. As United all out for the win Blackburn stroke again. It was a killer. United went down in front of their fans.

It a was game that United seemed to take lightly. The ego boost inside their mind. What Rooney did if true to the claimed surely not professional. But it still a long way to go.

Now against Newcastle, United should bring back their pride and dignity.

Glory glory United
