Preview Stoke City Vs United

Stoke City is no pushover

Stoke had proved that their FA Final  last season was not a fluke. Tony Pulis this season had a very strong and experienced squad. In goal they have Sorenson who is very solid and once seen as the next Schmicheal (for Denmark). Although he failed to this billing but he still a very good goalkeeper. In central defend Stoke have a good pair in Shawcross and Huth. Former United youth who spend his time at Old Trafford from 2002 up until 2008, Shawcross is no nonsense and hard tackling player. He made the world knew him after he broke Aaron Ramsey leg. But his reaction after the incident showed that he had no bad intention towards the Arsenal players. He is a great player and this was proved by Daglish intention to buy the player this season. Let see how Shawcross fare against his former club.

Stoke also had Rory Delap, Matthew Etherington, former United boy Higginbothom, Kenwynme Jones, Jermaine Pennant,  Peter Crouch, Cameron Jerome and Wilson Palacious. All of them are good players.

Beside that they are still undefeated at Britannia Stadium. The held Chelsea for goalless draw and defeated Liverpool 1-0.

Meanwhile United might welcome back Rio Ferdinand and Javier Hernandez. If Ferdinand could not make it will be Evans and Jones again as central defenders. Smalling said to be in doubt so maybe Fabio will fill the place at right back while Evra will captain the team from leftback. Young and Nani will be the flankers with Anderson and Flecther in the heart of midfield. Rooney is automatic choice for the first striker. I'm hoping that Owen would be Rooney partner though Hernandez would play if he is fit.

Hoping that Stoke 0-2 United.
