It was brilliant performance from the champion. After the miserable night at Basque Man United turned their attention at domestic game. A true character of a champion. They put aside their defeat to put a very commanding game against the struggle Wolves.
Their determinations were evident. And so their confident. With the their trademark fluid passing, Man United bossing the game right from the beginning. Antonio Valencia again was the main tormentor for Wolves. He again in the great form. His runs on the right wing were almost unstoppable. He scored one amazing goal. Collected a pass from Rooney than he ran towards the goal where calmly beat the Wolves keeper. Jonny Evans also scored his first goal in Man United shirt. A goal from Welbeck and a brace form Hernandez completed the rout.
Now Man United is four points clear ahead of Man City. The noisy neighbour had the extra rest as the opponent Chelski had FA Cup quarterfinal games against Leicester City. I believed Man City will drop more points here. The resurgent London club now is on fire after beating Leicester City 5-2 in the game that saw Fernando Torres scored a brace. Under the guidance of undertaker coach De Matteo, Chelski have four games undefeated. And the morale boost surely the night they beat Napoli 4-3 on aggregate to advance to UCL quarterfinals.
