Thank You Allah

I was totally broke yesterday. Only few cents in my pocket.  I did have some money before that. RM10 which I was hoping to use it for my breakfast this morning. But at 10pm last nite my wife had to go to his brother house. She started the car engine and found out the petrol indicator was blinking. The car had asked its tank to be filled. I had no choice to give her the RM10.

As usual every morning either me or my wife would drive her niece to school. When out at about 6.45am and passed through Caltex  where inside had Maybank ATM. I just glanced and hoping my salary is already in . Then passed the Maybank then I said to myself that I must gave the ATM a visit after this. About 7am I reached my sister in law house and waited for her daughter to come down. In my head, I was thinking if my account still empty I had to fast temporary until noon. As every Friday there will be free lunch provided by the company that I work at. That would solve my problem. Surely in the evening I will have my salary.

It already 7.15am and my wife's niece still not come down yet. I left my hp but still if I had it with me, it would be useless. Not credit or according to Adam 'top up abis yahh'. I dug deep in my pocket and waa laaa there was coins. Enough to call my wife.  I called her and she said 'Pikah dia baru bangun tidoq..dok kalut tu nak siap.' I reply ok and will wait for her. Back to my car and continued where I left. Still thinking about my economy. If I stayed like this, my life and my family would be in disorder. I had to have another job with higher pay. I had to start something to ensure the comfortability of my family. Then my thought went  back to my salary. I had to go to ATM to check. My salary is on every 26th  I was praying it was already in. Suddenly I heard a voice calling me. It was Pikah and she was not in her uniform.

'Pak Jang, Pikah tak pi sekolah hari ni. Pikah bangun lambat tak sempat nak siap dah.'

' So confirm tak pi ni'. I asked her for confirmation.

' A'ah tak pi. Sorry ek Pak Jang.

' Tak apa.' With that I drove my Vios. For Pikah Pak Jang was not mad at you. Just in my head was thinking about the ATM.

I reached the ATM. Few people were there. Acted cool so look cool but still lost the cool. I inserted the ATM card wrongly. The machine injected the card hehe. Than I inserted again....the display showed RMxxxx.xx. Hahaha syukur Alhamdullillahhhhhhh..

I  have my breakfast today. Thanks Allah.

United to bid David Villa

Manchester United Set For £35 Million Move For Valencia's David Villa
From http://www.goal.com/

Manchester United are set to offer Valencia £35million for star striker David Villa, one of the most coveted players in world football.

United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has sent scouts to check on Villa on a regular basis, and, according to the Daily Star, he is keen to pair the Spaniard with World Player of the Year candidate Wayne Rooney, in a strike duo that would be unmatched in world football.

The 28-year-old hitman has the interest of many of the top clubs in the world, and Manchester United will face tough competition from Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool to sign the Spain international.

A treble in Thurday night’s Europa League triumph over Werder Bremen increased Villa’s tally to 22 goals in 34 matches this season.

Villa helped Spain win Euro 2008, finishing as the top scorer in the tournament with four goals, and the striker has an impressive international strike record, scoring 37 times in 55 senior caps.

The Valencia striker still has four years left on his current deal, but with the Spanish club struggling financially, he could be sold for a massive sum this summer.

David Villa definitely a great player. His is already scored 121 goals in 223 outings for Valencia and 37 in 55 internationals for Spain. His ratio for Spain is much impressive than Raul Gonzalez. But he is already 28 years old. I believed United policy is to buy young players. In this case Benzema is more suitable player. He is the player that suit the premier league. Big, strong and powerful centerforward alike Shearer. Benzema is having tough time in Madrid and said seeking a new lifeline. With Higuan in top form, Benzema will see his chances limited to the bench. And maybe Madrid is also desperate to sell Benzema.

Having Benzema with Rooney would also  sharpen United attack. Thus is the same way reduce the burden on Rooney. Maybe no need to offload Berbatov. He is still United main player. Both would fight a place along side Rooney. With Owen as another striker, United would have four world class striker. That would be awesome.

United 2-1 Liverpool

Hail Sir Jing Sung

United had the premier league trophy at their sight after beating Liverpool at Old Trafford with 2-1 score line. Liverpool who played for pride after already out of title chase was determined to halt United progress. Although Liverpool took the lead in 5th minutes by Torres's header, United showed their champion character by scoring two goals as reply.

Both team started cautiously. United controlled the possession by passing the ball around the pitch. Liverpool meanwhile was happy to watch United with the ball but ready to pounce any mistake by their bitter rival. Then out of sudden Liverpool score. Carrick lost the ball after being caught by Torres who back heeled it to Gerard. Well aware of Kuyt, Liverpool's skipper then passed the ball to the winger. The Holland international look up then delivered a cross to Torress who unmarked. Whole United defenders were ball watching. No one was closed enough with the Spaniard. It was easy for Torres to plant superbly header passed Van De Sar. That was Liverpool first attack or rather attempt on United goal. Later proof the only attempt by the Merseysiders.

Then it was all United. Five minutes later United was awarded with dubious penalty after Valencia was tugged down by Mascherano. First I thought it was a red card and a free kick. But Howard Webb, South Africa bound referee, produced yellow and a penalty. Rooney stepped up. His initial spot kick was saved by Reina but scored from the rebound. United was backed into the game. Still the game was played in relatively slow tempo. United had the possession. Ji Sung Park, my favorite player, had twice tested Reina with headers. Second header he beat Agger. Then in 60 minutes the third header from Ji Sung Park gave United the lead. Cross from the left by Flecther was connected by the flying header of Ji Sung Park. He seemed to slip into Liverpool penalty unnoticing. Carragher was busy wrestling with Rooney while Mascherano also seemed be focusing on Rooney. 2-1.

Both team used five midfielders. Sharing the same style of playing. Torres had Gerrard as the support and link with the midfielders. United used Ji Sung Park that again gave a great performance. He linked with Rooney very well. Sometimes we could see Ji Sung Park as twin striker for Rooney. Jing Sung Park free role worked very well. His energetic and industrious run gave United extra man in attack and midfield.

All seemed working well for the 19th trophy. United just have to win all the remaining games. Chelski drew with Blackburn had gave United the edge.

Glory Glory United

Mr Lippi Reply - Inter Are Not Italian!

Marcello Lippi Blasts: Inter Are Not Italian!

The Nazionale coach has criticised Inter for not having enough Italians in the team...

By Salvatore Landolina
17-Mar-2010 9:21:00 PM

Italy coach Marcello Lippi is not impressed with Inter because there is not much Italian about them.

Jose Mourinho's starting XI against Chelsea had no player from Italy. Marco Materazzi, who came after 92 minutes, was the only Italian who took part, albeit briefly.

According to Goal.com Italia, Lippi said: "Italian football in crisis? You could think that looking at the Champions League, but it's not like that.

"What is there Italian about Inter for example? They are all foreigners, including the coach.

"The expression of Italian football, apart from the Nazionale, are Palermo, Genoa and Chievo. They all play well, and have excellent coaches."

For the record, Lippi spoke on Tuesday morning, before Inter's win over Chelsea in the Champions League.

There you go. I've told you Mr. Lippi is not jealous.

What about Inter Milan Mr. Lippi

English teams ‘not English’, says Lippi

ROME: Italy coach Marcello Lippi has played down the Champions League dominance of Premier League sides Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United by claiming that they are not really English.

An English team have reached the final of Europe’s premier Cup competition for the last five years in a row, while Liverpool and United tasted glory in the tournament in 2005 and 2008 respectively.

Italian sides, by contrast, have enjoyed flagging fortunes of late.

AC Milan are the only Serie A club to have won the tournament this decade and Inter Milan, who beat Chelsea 3-1 on aggregate in the last-16 tie on Tuesday, are the only Italian representatives in this year’s quarter-finals.

“English football is represented by Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal,” said Lippi.

“These teams have foreign owners, foreign coaches and most of their players are foreign. What’s English about them? Not much.” — AFP

Ok now let us go to Italy and check the Italian teams

More women getting nastier behind the wheel

GEORGE TOWN: Women drivers are getting more aggressive than their male counterparts, according to an analyst.

Based on the number of traffic summonses issued and court cases against women, a trend of aggressive driving has emerged among the fairer sex, said Malaysian Crime Prevention Foundation analyst Kamal Affandi Hashim.

“Based on what we can see, the attitude of male drivers has improved but women are getting more aggressive.

“Hence, the number of women involved in accidents is on the rise,” he said.

He, however, did not state statistics.

Chelski 0-1 Inter

Chelski Out

It really made me happy after hearing the news of Chelski defeat last night. Yihaaaa. It really made my day. Chelski had to wait another season to see whether they could lift the UCL trophy. Already five coaches been used since the arrival of Roman Abromovich who splashed millions to buy great players. May be now he realizes that money cannot buy success. Now Ancelotti feeling the heat as many know that Roman cannot accept defeat kindly as he always want success in speedy way.

I did not watch the game but Ancelotti admit that Chelski did not control the game. Inter started the game with attacking minded line up with Samuel E'too, Goren Pandev and Diego Milito as the strike force. This must came as surprised as many would bet that Mourinho is all out to defend the first leg result. Mourinho really knew all Chelski players very well. All out defend would give Chelski much control that would lead to downfall of Inter. Attacking would be the best policy to frustrate Chelski. And they got the much needed goal by E'too at 78 minutes. Down by aggregate of 1-3, Chelski needed to score two goals. This was a very tall order indeed. At ended time Drogba again red carded.

The red card must be the result of frustration. Again they were dumped. They had come close but yet too far. The aging Chelski squad knew that time is not at their side. Terry, Lampard, Ballack, Drogba are desperate to lift the cup.

I was hoping that Chelski would be eliminated at semi final instead. This would make their fixture a little bit hectic. They had FA Cup semifinal to come. United meanwhile had enough break to concentrate on domestic league. However I'm happy with Chelski defeat.

United Close To Sign Jack Rodwell

Manchester United are edging close to a £20 million move for Everton's young midfielder Jack Rodwell, according to the News of the World.

Although Old Trafford is believed to be the 19-year-old's first-choice, discussions with Chelsea and Manchester City are claimed to have taken place as well.

To read more click here.

Rodwell is very good player and suit United very well. Rodwell would be the next generation of United cental defender may be to pair with Evans or Smaling.  Evans already established himself as United main player. His groomed partner Gerard Pique also had established himself as important player for Barca and Spain. Ferguson is desperate to look for the next generation partner and cover for Ferdinand-Vidic. Rodwell is also very good midfielder. That would worth of buying this 19 years old player.

United 3-0 Fulham

Another brace from Rooney

United took three more points to keep them at the top of the league after Chelski claimed it temporarily with comfortable 4-1 victory against West Ham. It was relative easy and comfortable game for United. A one sided match that miraculously ended without a goal at half time.

Then 30 seconds after the interval Rooney struck. A cross from the left by Nani was superbly finished by Rooney who made it look very easy. The second goal was also from Rooney. Berbatov was the provider. Skillfully he got past two defenders on the right, then passed the ball to Rooney. Although it was a not clean strike, Rooney managed to guide the ball to the back of the net.

The third goal was well orchestrated. Rooney started the move. From the left Rooney dispatched perfect diagonal ball to Ji Sung Park who took it beautifully with his chest. Then he crossed the ball to the center where Berba and Nani were waiting. Berba attacked the ball and with diving header he scored the third.

The pressure now is at Chelski although the London's team had a game in hand. Arsenal also very close and will take the opportunity if the two slipped.

United 4-0 Milan

United through to the last eight

Another solid performance by the Devils thumping AC Milan with four goals with no reply. The result saw United cruised into the Champions League quarter-finals by a 7-2 aggregate scoreline. What a game, United victory against seven time Europe champion truely awesome. United is too quick for the aging visitor team. AC Milan surely need to revamp the entire squad. Their catenaccio was easily been exposed by the speedy forwards of United.

Playing with very high tempo with five midfielders United had their tactical spot on that work into perfection. Though it was  same style of playing that brought sensational victory at San Siro, Milan still find United difficult to control. With Rooney as chief striker, United had potent threat everytime they move forward. United seems to overcome of goal shy when Rooney on the pitch. Rooney before this had fans worried with injury problem had been clear fit a day before. Sure he had made the difference with two goals against the Italian giant.

The first goal was a header assisted by Neville. It was a perfect cross from the right that made his best pal Beckham envied. Beckham who was at the bench surely applauded the cross. The goal surely a little bit had taken the moral out of Milan players. They had to score atleast three goals in order to advance to quarter final. Then right after the interval Rooney struck again. This time a quick attack from the left by Nani who brilliantly passed the ball towards Rooney using his outside boot of his right leg. Sprint towards the ball Rooney past between two defenders. Then calmly prodded the ball past the outrushing keeper. 2-0. The two goals brought Rooney tally to 30 goals.

Then Ji Sung Park, my favourite player, score another goal. All were lost now for Milan. Then Fletcher  added another goal at ended time to complete the rout.

United seemed to be among the favourite to lift the cup again. Certainly they could do it. Another history in the book if they advanced to the final for third consecutive season. United had to wait for the draws to know their next opponent. The draws for the quarter-finals and semi-finals of the 2009/10 UEFA club competitions will take place on Friday 19 March at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

Pembalasan Si Pitung

Arsenal 5-0 Porto

This is what I called Pembalasan Si Pitung. Sweet revenge for the Gunners after losing 1-2 at first leg. The school boy errors that made the headlines during the first leg now easily forgoten. The emphatic victory over the Portuguese giant at  the Emirates Stadium send the signal to others team that Arsenal is serious contender in UCL. Although without Cesc Febregas,  Arsene Wenger's young team rose to the occassion with gritty performance that condemned Porto into their highest defeat in Europe.

The man of the night belong to Nicklas Bendtner who heavily criticised after a dissappointing Saturday's win against Burnley. The towering Dane grabbed a hatrick to silence his critics. Samir Nasri who took over the Febragas role in central midfield did a splendid job making the absence of the Gunner skipper easily forgoten.

Back to Pembalasan Si Pitung. It was actually an Indonesian movie. I believed been produced in the 1970s . Not so sure what was the story all about. I just remembered the poster outside the cinema that promoting the movie when I was small. But I believed it all about revenge. I was so captivated with the movie title that I always mentioned it especially when I was playing with my brothers. Instead of saying revenge I will simply said Pembalasan Si Pitung. And until know I will use Pembalasan Si Pitung for the change of revenge. What Arsenal did last night was definitely PEMBALASAN SI PITUNG.

I browsed the internet and found the above poster. The movie was produce in 1978. Wow quite an old movie. But this poster had Jiih at the end. I'll seek more info letter.

Wolverhampton Wanderers VS United

Wolves 0-1 United

Another hard fought game where United managed to win with mere one goal. A game where United played without goal machine Rooney. United obviously struggle to find the net without Rooney. Berba is fantastic striker but cannot run directly to opponent defenders to create himself an opening. But as usual he showed his brilliant control and pass during the game that left the opponent mesmerizing.

United wining goal was struck by Paul Scholes after waited for more than one hour. Assisted by Valencia the goal was also the 100th goal scored by Scholes.

The goal also took United to the top of table of Barclay Premeir League. Two points ahead of Chelski who had a game in hand. Nice to be at the top at the same time give the pressure to Chelski.

My Special Day

Today is very special day. The day when God send a soul to the world many years ago that afterward completed my life. A wonderful soul that always by my side for joy and laughter, never let go of me for sad and bad times, beaming with honesty  in the face when sharing my dreams and passions, give me courage when I was skeptical and down, and sincerely cry when I sick and lost.

I never dreams to be like this before. I was so lost without ambition and direction. An ordinary guy who lost his will and never thought that could live like ordinary person - to have family. Then she entered into my live. Things changes but I could not see that. I still could not see all the beautifuls thing she brought. I am blind. So blind to see how  great she is. Still she smiles. Still she had no complaints. Still she adores me. SHE LOVES ME.

I never gives her present or gift. Still she never asks. I do not like holding hands while walking. Still she smiling. Sometimes she asks for favour and I turn it down. She still respects my decisions.

I been lousy to the one who loves me so much. I know that and I very sorry.

Sayang Happy Birthday. I really LOVE YOU so much. Thank you for being my wife and best friend.

From this moment life has begun
From this moment you are the one
Right beside you
is where I belong

From this moment on
From this moment I have been blessed
I live only for your happiness
And for your love
I’d give my last breath
From this moment on
I’d give my hand to you with all my heart
Can’t wait to live my life with you, can’t wait to start
You and I will never be apart
My dreams came true because of you

From this moment
as long as I live
I will love you, I promise you this
There is nothing I wouldn’t give
From this moment on

OH

You’re the reason I believe in love
And you’re the answer to my prayers from up above
All we need is just the two of us
My dreams came true because of you

From this moment as long as I live
I will love you, I promise you this
There is nothing I wouldn’t give
From this moment

I will love you
I will love you
As long as I live
From this moment on

United Retained Carling Cup

United 2-1 Aston Villa

It had  been three games involving United since my last entry. The weekend game against Everton where United lost 1-3. Then they bounced back to beat West Ham 3-0 with brace from Rooney. Finally last weekend Carling Cup final against Aston Villa.

The game against Everton was ended with unexpected defeat. After great result at San Siro, United was expected to carry the momentum to beat the Toffees. It was  very comfortable afternoon at the beginning but ended in sombre. Two young Everton prodigies showed United why they are rated very high now. Dan Gosling gave the Everton leads. Then Jake Rodwell, said to be United target, made sure all three points went to Merseysiders.

I was quite sad about the defeat. Too sad that I did not want to blog about it. Hehe.

But then United beat West Ham. Smile was on my face again and anxiously wait for another show down with Villa. This time for Carling Cup. In last premeir league meeting United managed to grab a draw although one man down after Nani was sent off. I was hoping that United could win this time althought I suspect Ferguson will rested the big names like Rooney and Scholes.

Then the night that I've been waiting for arrived. A night before I already in joyful mood after watching Manchester City hammered Chelsea 4-2. I was hoping that Manachester City would do its neighbour big favor by beating Chelsea. It was granted although in the beginning I was little bit sceptical.  This was based on the way both team played especially in the first half, Chelsea evidently much better side. When Lampard scored my worries seems to be real. But somehow, suddenly City scored through Tevez. The goal was combination of Tevez persistent and Chelsea slack defending especially by Terry and Hillario.

Then the second half was more intriguing. City added three more goals and Chelsea had two players sent off. I just could not believe my eyes. Finally the final score was 4-2 for City. For me John Terry was among the reasons for Chelsea defeat. Terry obviously had dip in form. He lacks of concentration and focus. His powerful commanding at the back seems to dissert him. And his team also had problem of confidence against him. This showed by the dismissal of Belleti and Ballack.  He need to be rested. However this is good news to United.

On Sunday night United trooped into Wembley knowing that Premeir League is still in their hands. It was such needed boost to face very talented Villa team. Coached by Martin O Neil, who said to be among candidate to replace Ferguson, Villa is very dicipline, young and compact team. Villa is very tough nut to crack.

Both team launched their attack right from the start. In the third minute Villa was awarded a penalty. Running through the flank Gabriel Agbonlahor outpaced Vidic who then had no choice to floor the speedy striker. The referee had no hesistance to point to the penalty spot. I was not too bother about the penalty. My mind was thinking the red card against Vidic. I was saying not again, the game only three minutes old and United again had to lose a player. But to my surprised no card not even yellow to Vidic. For me its a penalty and straight red card. Again United was lucky. James Milner took the penalty and scored.

United then responsed with Owen goal ten minutes later. However later he was replaced by Rooney for suspected hamstring problem. Rooney then scored the winning goal with looping header that passed Friedel.

It was a game good for both team. Villa seemed to adapt the game quickly than United. The midfield was won marginally by Petrov the Villa's skipper. However it relatively quiet easy game for Kuszczak, United goal keeper. While Friedel was the busier keeper through out the game.

Another trophy another glory  for Manchester United.
