Manchester To Wembley

Man Utd 3-1 Man City

Utd edged City with 3-1. My heart was pounding and anxious to know the score when I woke up at 6 am this morning. My mother in law house did not have internet while Astro's subscription did not include the sport channel. I was in the car when I heard the news in Sinar FM at 7 am mentioning the result. It was a big result. Larger than winning the cup itself. When I arrived at office the first thing I did, read the report of the game in the internet. Seems that Ferguson had used 4-5-1. Flecther was the star for the team. The important thing they won using this system with 3 goals.

MU through to Wembley facing Aston Villa on 28 February 2010. As for me the Carling Cup is a bonus.

United, Man united,
We’re the boys in red and we're on our way to Wembley!
Wembley, Wembley,
We're the famous Man united and we're going to Wembley,
Wembley, Wembley,
We're the famous Man united and we're going to Wembley

This weekend another big match. Away against Arsenal.

WoW.... USD 1.8 billion is really a lot money. Film is a very big business. In US alone the film collected about USD 600 million.

Rooney is here to stay

Rooney: I'm not leaving United

Wayne Rooney has admitted he is happy to be attracting interest from other clubs but insists he has no intention of leaving Manchester United.

The England centre-forward has been in scintillating form this season, notching 19 Premier League goals to lead Sir Alex Ferguson's side to the Premier League summit.

Since Cristiano Ronaldo's departure from Old Trafford to Real Madrid in an £80 million deal, Rooney has taken the mantle of United's talisman and his displays have brought reported interest from Real and Barcelona.

But the striker, who is the Premier League's top scorer so far this season, appeared happy to re-affirm his commitment to the regining champions.

"There's always speculation, and when other big teams are talking about you, it's nice that you're talked about," Rooney told Manchester United's official website. "But as I've said many times before, I'm a United player and I'm very happy here.''

"I hope we can win the title again this year. We've won the league the last three years and nobody has ever won it four times in a row. We want to create history.

"The title race is much tighter this year and it's probably more exciting for the neutrals or fans around the country. But we're hoping that now we are top we can go on and remain there for the rest of the season.''

One of Rooney's predecessors in the England forward line, Newcastle legend Alan Shearer, has outlined the importance of the former Everton striker to United.
After watching Rooney's four-goal masterclass in the 4-0 defeat of Hull at the weekend, Shearer told BBC Radio Five Live: "They would not be where they are in the league (without Rooney).
"He has carried them at times but he is a great player and that's what great players do. When the clubs need them they step forward.''

Shearer also underlined Rooney's importance to England's World Cup ambitions, saying: "As important as he is to Manchester United, he is just as important to England, I don't think anyone should forget that.

"But on the other hand there were question marks. People were saying he has to step up his performance this year because of the loss of Ronaldo and boy has he done that.
"I think he has actually carried Manchester United on his own at times this season. That's saying something for the size of that particular club.

Fo(u)r Rooney

MU 4-0 Hull City

Rooney hits four passed Hull City. This bring his tally to 19 goals and help MU to go top of the league. Rooney was the main man of the game. His determinations fire up MU. Though MU looking sharp in every move and went all offensive right from the start, MU still look struggling especially after the interval. However the presence of Rio Ferdinand gave extra sense of security and confident. Maybe this effect Scholes who been dominating  and pulling all the strings from the midfield. And his venomous shot that brought the first goal for Rooney and MU. Myhill who made seven oustanding saves againts Tottenham, could only palm Scholes shot towards Rooney who will not miss it in six yards.

Micheal Owen was given rare start. He had his chances. His movement and position also good. No goal from him showed his is lack of match practice. I believe he could deliver many goals if he played regularly. But that seems a little impossible with Rooney is automatic first choice and Berba is definitely in Ferguson game plan. 4-4-2 seems to work perfectly and producing many goals and MU still had the realistic chance to defend the title.

The fans also  express themselves clearly towards the Glazier.

Devils against Tiger

An evening game against Hull City

Game Review - Burnley and Man City

 MU 3-0 Burnley

It was tough game actually against Burnley. The score line for me did not reflect the actual game. If only Burnley had a striker in the same class as Torres of Drogba, MU definitely have been punished and ended up at losing side. There were few open chances and half chances as well for Burnley, but Nugent once caught the headlines with transfer to various club, blew all away.

MU is still far behind from their best performance. They only stand out was Valencia outstanding performance that seems to get better each game. The chief tormenter for Burnley. His control, position, pace, delivery and vision was superb. Involved in almost all MU offensive and most of the time he started the move. Though it was obvious that the main threat was coming from him, Burnley backline still cannot find the way to stop the Ecuadorian. Valencia still managed to find space and time then creating opening for MU forwards. He maybe not the direct substitute for Ronaldo but he is in his class.

Manchester City 2-1 Manchester United
League Cup Semi Final - First Leg

I did not have the leisure to watch the game live and the recorded game also. But usually if MU lost I will not watch the game. Too heartbreaking for me hehe. Seems the talking point of the game was Tevez and Neville.

MU played with five midfielders with Rooney as a lone striker. Actually I did not like MU played with this system. Rooney is not out and out striker like Berba who seems to fit the system best. Rooney like most people said is a complete striker. He likes to go deep to collect the ball, make passes and  assist. However with correct players MU will definitely control the midfield area. But no so many goals created when MU played this system compare to traditional 4-4-2.

MU lost to the main rival. Not the cup they lost but the honor and tradition that matter. Still got 90 minutes to play

Next - Against Burnley

Saturday game - against Burley. Hope no lacklustre performance from the devils. Reports say that MU in debts should not in the players mind. But very sad if Rooney had to leave due to management action. MU also said considering the option of selling Old Trafford Stadium then leased it back.

This is why most of MU fans against the takeover by the Glaziers. MU already at that time was very wealthy with very stable stock treading . But then the Glazier arrived. In order to made the take over succeed they borrow a lot of money. They bought shares until they managed to exercise the mandatory general shares. With all the shares the Glaziers able to made MU a private company. Tony Cascarino once said why MU fans made a lot of fuss about the takeover. He said Chelsea had benefited from Roman Abromovich wealth. Well, went Abromovich took over Chelsea he managed to clear the Blues debt but the Glaziers had created debt for MU.

Zee Avi - Kantoi

Suka gak ngan lagu ni. So enjoy

Lirik Lagu Kantoi - Zee Avi (Kokokaina)

Semalam I call you, you tak answer
You kata you keluar pergi dinner
You kata you keluar dengan kawan you
but when I called Tommy he said it wasn't true

So I drove my car pergi Damansara
Tommy kata maybe you tengok bola
Tapi bila I sampai... you, you tak ada
Lagi la I jadi gila

So I called and called sampai you answer
You kata sorry sayang tadi tak dengar
My phone was on silent, I was at the gym
Tapi latar belakang suara perempuan lain

Sudahlah sayang, I don't believe you
I've always known that your words were never true
Why am I with you?
I pun tak tahu

No wonder la my friends pun tak suka you
So I guess that's the end of our story
Akhir kata she accepted his apology
Tapi last-last kita dapat tahu she was cheating too
With her ex boyfriend's best friend, Tommy...

Frozen under sub zero

The result 1-1. MU need an own goal to salvage a point. A game that Mu dominate so much but no end product. Seem rely heavily on Rooney to get goals. Fletcher red card made thing worst. Lucky escape. No spark under the frozen snow. Need new player like Ribery or maybe Ben Arfa who could change the game. Scholes seem to lose his touch as game winner. Or maybe there is no influential leader like Keano to turn thing around.

Gary Neville still struggling with injury and might end his career end of this season. Giggsy cannot be in the field in every game. Ferdinand and Van De Sar also not features regularly this season. Fletcher is very influential but he is not in the same league with Robbo or Keano. Evra lately given the armband but nothing special come out yet. MU had faced the inconsistently before when Robbo left and the armband went to Bruce. But it was charismatic of Cantona that hold MU. MU need somebody that they can look up to and turn the game around.

Semi Final Carling Cup Postpone

The Carling Cup semi-final first leg ties between Manchester City and Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers and Aston Villa have both been postponed due to adverse weather conditions in north-west England.

Tuesday night's game between Blackburn and Villa at Ewood Park was called off in the morning. The pitch was playable but with snow continuing to fall heavily, the club, following consultation with Police and the Football League, took the decision to call off the game.

It was later confirmed that Wednesday's Manchester derby had also fallen victim to the weather with Roberto Mancini now having to wait to pit his wits against Sir Alex Ferguson for the first time. The first leg has been rearranged for January 19 with the second leg at Old Trafford coming on January 27.

Manchester Cup Derby

LEAGUE CUP - ROUND SEMI FINALS
7 JANUARY 2010
3.45 AM

More than a cup tied. Rivalry that pushed to be the best.

This cup had been testing ground for MU young players but after FA cup exit, back to back defeat would be disaster. Ferguson might field stronger side to face Mancini boys.

For You My Dear

For My Beloved Wife Mimi

And Also Lin

Kalah la pulak

Kalah la pulak dengan Leeds..no luck..second stringer still not up the mark..especially Obertan. His level of confidence still low. One cup already lost and FA cup remain elusive for Rooney collections.

Hate to admit that MU seems to lose one of its trademark and lethal weapon - swift and speedy counter attack. When there was Ronaldo it always dengerous when MU launch a counter attack. 3-4 player will sprint into opponent dangerous area. The sweeping move from defence that usually left the opponent back pedaling now hardly been the showcase of MU game.

Counter attack usually been the most reliable move to score goals for MU. It has been there since, as far I remember, in Robson day as skipper of MU. Then came the speedy winger like Ryan Giggs, Lee Sharpe, Poborsky and the best off all, Kanchelskis. Schmeical will alway look for him for counter attack.

All not lost yet. Still have 3 cups to go for that Glory Glory Man United.
